The inaugural Columbia Sports Conference will be led by Columbia University students interested in sports business. For the first year, the business school is collaborating with the sports management program at the School of Professional Studies to create a panel of industry leaders to discuss the intersection of sports and technology.
There will be two panels:
There is a growing intersection between sports and the venture capital/startup community. How and why are professional sports leagues, teams, and players building out incubators and accelerators? What are the future implications?
