Columbia College Student Council Policy Initiatives

Tampons and pads are available in women's, men's, and gender inclusive restrooms across campus! CCSC will be stocking these bathrooms every Monday this semester in partnership with the Columbia Engineering Student Council and the General Studies Student Council. Please find below the locations of the bathrooms with tampons and pads. If you have any questions or concerns, please email [email protected].

CCSC has been working in collaboration with the Mental Health Task Force to address mental health issues on campus. We have discussed structural shortcomings at the University level that may be contributing to and aggravating the stress culture and mental health atmosphere on campus.

Columbia Counseling and Psychological Services - CPS

  • Columbia CPS supports the psychological and emotional well-being of the campus community by providing confidential consultation and counseling.

Over the course of the year, CCSC has pursued various academic policy issues, including faculty advising programs, changes to the Global Core, and urging departments to provide supplemental events for the Core.

Columbia College Student Council believes no student should go hungry, and is dedicated to providing students with resources to reduce the overall food insecurity on campus.
